I live and work in the “Mile High City” of Denver, Colorado and have lived in Colorado for the past 21 years. I was born and raised on the Colorado Plateau in northwest New Mexico. I believe my artistry has been deeply influenced by the unique traditions of fine art and culture that the people from the “Land of Enchantment” have loved and cherished. My art infuses this culture and experience with the my home here in Colorado.

I began developing art from a very early age. My mediums were varied. I believe I had a unique vision which was influenced by my mother who was an professional artist and teacher. Dabbling in many art forms, I found passion and satisfaction in the expression of emotion through the photographic image. A further developed philosophy integrating the idea of “Mother Earth”, natural form and humanity which are my core passions and infused these into my work. I hope my images portray the love and respect of nature and humanity. I feel art is speaking from and to us in a simple language which we develop within ourselves. No instruction is needed to interpret the language but vision, expertise and work is needed to create it. I strive to continue to learn my craft. In collaboration with others, I try to forge a mutual vision that can achieve the required goals. One which speaks from us to us.
