Folks were hiking White Dome Loop in the Valley of Fire Park in southern Nevada. These kids were excited to see White Dome and were running down the sandstone formation leading their parents. I remember doing the same things when I was their age when my family visited national parks... I was always super excited. to tell the truth, I am still that way today.
Down the Trail from Boulders
Teig coming down the trail from a cool boulder formation near Sheeprock. We had fun playing in the rocks and were making our way back to camp before the dark of night.
Full Sprint in Snow
Teig in full sprint through the deep snow on South Table Mountain. He definitely blends into the snow when the snow is coming down hard.
Sunday Snowstorm at Home in Denver
A cold snowstorm hit Denver and Teig and I went out in it to relinquish our cabin fever. Shoveled some snow then headed to the local elementary school field to play some frisbee.
Teig is Enjoying the Snow
The joy of being a Colorado Traildog on a snow covered Colorado trail.
Speed on the Trail Snow
Teig loves to run along the trail when we are exploring the Front Range in Colorado. He is running to me on Travois Trail on Centennial Cone near Golden. We spend many of our winter weekend days sauntering these trails.
The Chase in the Sangre De Cristo Range”
Teig was off and in chase of a Pronghorn Antelope near McCrystal Creek in the Sangre De Cristo Range of northern New Mexico. Teig is an old dog but still has some speed in the short races but in this one he had no chance to even come close to this beautiful antelope. Although, it was good exercise for my old dog.
